REMUNERATION, REIMBURSEMENT, AND OTHER BENEFITS

Stipend

The stipend for School Board members is $150.00 per month. The Board President and Clerk-Treasurer receive an additional $100.00 per month for duties performed. If more than two meetings are held in any one month, each School Board member will be compensated at a rate of $75.00 for each additional meeting attended.

For the purposes of this bylaw, a meeting is defined as a Board meeting where a roll call is taken, or a Board work session that lasts longer than forty-five (45) minutes.

Reimbursement of Expenses

Board members shall be reimbursed for expenses incurred in attending any meetings or in making any trips on official business of the school district when so authorized in advance by the Board.
