ANNUAL LEAVE/PAID TIME OFF
Full year managerial or supervisory classified employees not covered by a negotiated agreement who receive sick leave shall receive 25 days annual leave per year. Employees who do not earn sick leave shall earn paid time off as per employment agreement or collective bargaining agreement. Annual leave/paid time off shall be scheduled in advance and used at the convenience of the school district, and shall be taken only after approval through the Office of the Superintendent.
Other full year, permanent, classified employees not covered by a collective bargaining agreement may also accumulate annual leave or paid time off. The Superintendent shall establish leave procedures and a leave schedule for the allocation of annual leave for full year, permanent, classified employees.
Employees are encouraged to plan for and use their annual leave. Annual leave in excess of 140 days shall be forfeited on March 1 of each year, unless other arrangements for use of leave are made through the Superintendent.
