COURSES OF STUDY
Elementary Schools
The School Board shall adopt a course of study for elementary grades aligned with state performance and content standards which sufficiently prepares district students for the required high school course of study.
Secondary Schools
The School Board shall adopt courses of study designed to meet student needs and to conform with district and state graduation requirements and the requirements for admission to postsecondary schools. Courses of study shall: be integrated where appropriate; provide students the opportunity to attain skills appropriate for entry-level employment upon graduation from high school; and provide students the opportunity to qualify for the Alaska Performance Scholarship program.
